Who: Sayo  Castiglioni,, open
When: A couple of days after the app starts appearing on everyone's phones.
Where: The city library
What: Sayo works as a desk clerk, and returns books to their proper place. In between tasks she is reading a musty old tome of mysteries by various 20th century authors.

[ Sayo was a quite girl who spent most of her time outside of school working the front desk, where titles were loaned out and returned in equal numbers. From time to time, she would get up from her desk and do the usual rounds of returning books to their stacks, unfortunately she is a bit clumsy and will at some point trip and send a pile of books directly at anyone in the way.

The good news, at least, is that Ciro is just to the side enough that none of the books hit him as Sayo hits the floor. Jolting slightly, he hastily puts the book he was looking through back onto the shelf before leaning down.

"Are you alright?" It's asked even as he picks up one of the fallen books.

"If you're sure..." Still, he continues to pick up books. His family raised him better than that, after all.

"Do you need help with these?"
kokuyoyo: (I mean I don't even call it a hangover)

A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth as he continues stacking the books. This sounds like a familiar story to him, for some reason.

"Sounds like a good book. What was it about?"
kokuyoyo: (Tell him next time I'm going to be)

"Oh, a mystery? A murder one, or something else?"

Sayo would hear a sharp sound in front of her as the books tumbled out of her grasp--a sharp gasped, followed by a little shriek. The books largely fell forward, with only a few of them bumping into her before harmlessly hitting the ground, leaving the entire affair more startling than actually painful.

"Jeez, be more careful, would you? You nearly gave me a heart attack, y'know!" Kyoko huffed, though there was no real anger to be found in her voice. Rather, it seemed like she was trying to cover up her initial reaction and subsequent embarrassment by being as noisy as possible. Despite that, she was quick to crouch down to pick up one of the books that had landed at her feet.

That's one way to make her feel bad. Kyoko let out a sigh and shakes her head, all of her irritation ebbing away.

"Nah. I should've been paying more attention too, y'know."

Kyoko paged through the book that she'd taken in hand for a moment before beginning to collect the rest of them. There were a couple names that she recognized, though it wasn't often that she picked up books and even less often that they were mysteries.

Still, she was already feeling guilty about snapping, so it seemed only appropriate to at least try and make up for that,

"You gonna read all of these?"
