[mingle log] Working In Paradise
Who: Anyone visiting or working at the Lazarus Bell Cafe
What: The Cafe's grand opening!
When: December 1
Where: Lazarus Bell Cafe
After a month of carefully preparing everything, the cafe is finally having its grand opening! And since it's a Saturday, that means it's fully staffed and hopping.
Whatever the weather might be like outside, it's perfectly arm and toasty inside of the cafe itself... Although some people on the outside dining areas might like that chill. Or perhaps they're simply looking for a table that's not filled to the brim. Either way, it does't matter. After all, the menu has been updated for the winter season!
There are all sorts of things available for customers: peppermint hot chocolate, elderberry-ginger tea, and turmeric-black tea brew, among other things. Of course, there's also the old favorites that are being brought from the demo cafe that happened during the Flower Festival, so don't worry! You're still free to buy that lavender cake you like so much.
Of course, for the people working during all this, it might not be as easy but hey....

[He said this with a smile mixed with worries and sadness on his face.]

O-Oh... Somehow yes. Although, the students are the least of my problems...

[He's... taught before, he knows it's a pain. Not in recent decades, but still.]

[He then frowns as he starts thinking about himself. He tried so hard not to let his worries about his friends and those children as well his world's fate, but no matter how hard he focused on his false life, he can't seem to forget those worries.]
no subject
... You know, I'm off work soon. I can talk to you more once I am?
no subject
O-Oh... I'm sorry for taking your time off because of me.
[He gives a small, but saddened smile to him.]

[He's only got twenty minutes left but he knows that he's going to need extra time to clock out because this is an inevitable fact of work anywhere.]
no subject
[He just needs to go home before curfew so he won't be late for work tomorrow.]

[The time passes quickly enough, and he swings back around a bit later to take the plate from the professor. A little bit after that, he grins, now changed back into his casual clothes, and sits down across from the other. The cafe is significantly less busy, and most of the other people Augustine can spot are people he might have seen on some of the missions.]
Hey again.

Once Taro appears in his casual clothes, he greets him again with a smile and nod.]
I should say the same as well.
Though now that I think about it, you formerly studied in Green Valley, correct?
no subject
[His grades are still kind of... eh... but he's keeping them acceptable enough.]
What's up, though? Something in particular bothering you?
no subject
It might be crazy for me to say this, but it's regarding myself... Specifically, my own identity...
no subject
You can talk openly about it. That's part of why this place is here.

[He slightly chuckled at that late realization. Guess he doesn't need to ask about him as a Persona user after all, then.]
I'm already aware how we were somehow kidnapped our world and lost our memories before. But I am worried about the people I know back home.

Maybe I can share it through the app or somewhere?
