Who: Conan and Anyone
Where: Various
When: Month of September
What: Many Meetings
A. Ran's house
With Hattori gone, Conan had been left alone with a distant false parent he had no intention of building any kind of relationship with. It comes as a relief when he receives the news that his false father intended to move abroad. It took very little manipulation to arrange an agreement to allow him to stay with Ran's false family.
Perhaps it should have worried him at how easy it had been, but in his life as Conan at home, a similar situation had happened without much debate.
And so it is that Conan arrives at Ran's home ready to move into a spare room.
B. School
Without a doubt, school was Conan's least favorite part of the day. Bad enough that he was stuck learning first grade lessons again, but he also had to pretend that he didn't already know everything they were teaching. If he had to recite the times tables for the teacher one more time.
However, recess wasn't terrible. He spends most of his recess time kicking his soccerball around and occasionally playing with other children.
C. The Flower Shop
Now that he was living with Ran again, Conan sometimes came to the flowershop after school. He hadn't forgotten her confession to him as Shinichi that she missed spending time with him as Conan.
And with Vermouth around, even with amnesia, he was much happier when he knew exactly where Ran was. He could spend his afternoons pretending that his homework was a challenge while keeping an eye on all the visitor's to the shop.

Though when he looks at the kids playing outside the school, he felt a little ease that everything is peaceful if there are no strange murders and monsters around Eddan. He has no worries about his work for now, so why not relax for a bit until then? Thinking of this, Augustine sits down on the bench when he notices a young spectacled boy kicking his soccer ball, which he curiously watches him do so.]

"You were there that night, right?"
Sometimes the direct route was the best.
no subject
Excuse me? What do you mean exactly?
no subject
"I have a good memory for faces, you know. And there weren't that many people there. Even if we didn't talk then, I remember who was there."
no subject
In any case, he has to confirm one more thing before he can trust him with his secret.]
Well, I don't suppose you also saw those creatures and the allied ones from our shadows, correct?
no subject
Sorry if this is late!
I can agree to that. But I still can't believe that a young boy like you were forced into that incident...

no subject
Question is, how did those creatures manage to hack it in? I know it's origins are unnatural, but I doubt it can be hacked so easily.

Good point. But, why in the world are you in that event? Also, how did you able to access that app?
no subject
[He shrugs, deliberately casual. Here was where things got complicated. He needed to make sure that no one connected Conan Hartwell to the name that had been attached to his presence online.]
That's the strange part. I can read the app, but I don't have an account there.
no subject
That is strange. Though, you managed to know about the "Awakening" and the events that were discussed, correct?
no subject
no subject
I see. But you didn't go to those events. I know you can see the app, but you're still a child. It's too dangerous for you to go there.

[Augustine's shock was an understatement, which he has no idea about the boy's true identity.]
Who in the right person dragged you into a mess like that?! Are they out of their mind?!
no subject
no subject
So I doubt we have any other choice than to go to the Awakening.
[This made him wonder if most of the users are in their right minds.]
But I still can't believe you were pulled into that mess.
c, after ten years of being forgetful
As he's always been, Chikusa is a constant presence in the flower shop. From anyone who doesn't know the true him, he's not particularly noticeable. He does his work, and does it quietly, tending to homework and personal projects when the store is empty. Conan's presence is something he casually side eyes, but, well... It's not his business. Ran is who wants him here, after all.
no subject
He watches idly as Chikusa moves around the shop.
"Do you always spend this much time here?"
no subject
"I work here... and school plus curfew doesn't give me many other hours."
no subject
Fishing for information was practically a habit for him.
no subject
"The location is convenient." Carefully, he fills another pot with water. "Besides, I-" Ciro Bonavida anyway. "-like plants already so... There's not really a deep meaning to it."
no subject
Being obnoxiously curious was also a habit of his.
no subject
He has work to do, and this kid is wasting valuable energy on that front.

"And what does asking me about my job accomplish?"
