It was nice to have tutoring and studying as a back-up excuse most of the time. It meant John could leave before sunset and just tell his mom that the study session ran a bit late. He's not sure what to make of this get together--but he wants to be there in case someone's figured out something to share or just to see if anyone else has folded.

He sits on the floor near the couch, sipping at a hot cup of tea from a stranegly adorable bunny mug. "Hm? What do you mean he's not at school anymore?"
