Michi walks slowly, deliberately, eyes scanning his surroundings for anyone. He turns to walk backwards at one point, and gets just turned around enough that when he turns back he runs straight into a street sign. Michi recoils, hissing in pain. And that's probably how Haruka first sees him, rubbing his nose gingerly and muttering to himself.
