"Huh?" He'd kind of zoned out in that moment of silence, and the question was surprising both because of that and because he didn't really have an answer.

"I don't know. I've never really thought about it. These are my dad's so I help out." He's not sure how much he would even say he likes them in general, even if there are some he thinks are really cool, like the blacklight flowers. "They're pretty, though, and some of them smell nice." It's as good of an answer as he can come up with.
