It earns him a smile in return, and a nod. "Thanks. It helped." At least he's been around her long enough that he's not worrying at all about Gen's arm. That's something he used to do when he was new, but the instructors have long since made it very clear that's it's totally fine to punch them. That said, now that he's a little more solid on what he's trying to do right now, he'll be content to go back to working with a punching bag.
