Her eyes widen sharply as he dodges; she's used to having her strikes land. But training has become second nature at this point, and she doesn't even pause for her surprise, flowing towards the next strike with barely a thought --
Until suddenly she recognizes who it is and cuts herself off mid-kick. "Ah -- you!"
From the hallway -- he'd taken out a rat about to launch itself into her. Stayed with her beyond that as the rats closed in around them. Vanished without a word, without ever saying his name.
"I'm sorry, I didn't--" Suddenly remembering where they are, that this can't possibly be casual: "How--?"
