[for his part, Vincent remains in the waking sleep that many a college student would know all too well. he could easily have shuttered his eyes once more if it weren't for the extremely important tasks he was expected to continue performing. he's rewarded for his diligence in being allowed to notice, even through his inebriated haze, the way that their breathing slowly begins to sync up. it's such a pleasant feeling, their chests rising and falling in time with one another.
