Who: Armand Sauveterre (Augustine Sycamore), Asher Guthermuth (Gladion), and Casimir Gutermuth (Kaltz)
When: June 19th
Where: A school classroom
What: A parent/teacher/student conference regarding one suddenly much more rebellious 14 year old
It had been a couple weeks since Gladion awakened. Not just him, but the rest of his family, and maybe he could have convinced himself this whole life he'd been living wasn't just a blatant lie if it wasn't so painfully obvious that none of them belonged together. His "brother" had immediately turned his nose up at anything human, as if he'd never even pretended to be one at all. His father less so, but the fact that he likewise wasn't human was painfully obvious.
Gladion? Well, he was human. But he didn't belong here, and after remembering everything, he wondered how he could have ever even faked his way into imagining having anything resembling a normal family life. For three days after awakening, he didn't even bother to come out of his room except to eat, and made it clear that he didn't want to hear a word from his supposed family. When he did come back to school, he just made up a story about having been sick.
And now? Well, now he's in a classroom sitting grumpily at a desk because his formerly favorite teacher got concerned enough to set up a meeting with his not-actually-father, and he's stuck here waiting for it to happen.

So when he noticed that Asher somehow distant himself after a few days of absence, he knows something must have happened to him for some reason. In fact, he is very concerned about his favorite student to the point that he called his father, Casimir for a student/teacher/parent meeting.
And as Asher's father is on his way to Green Valley, he decides to use this time to talk to his student before his arrival. But as he enters the classroom, he can clearly see that he's not happy that he's here.
"Asher," he said as Armand takes his seat on his desk that is right in front of Asher's. "I'm sorry if I have to call you here all of the sudden."

So instead, he goes with what he does know and can say. "You're worried about me." It's not like he doesn't understand the motivation, especially since he knows he's been acting weird (for "Asher", at least), but he says it flatly, just stating a fact. "But you're wasting your time. And mine."

"Trust me, I feel that this meeting isn't a waste not after your strange absence for a few days now. Where were you that caused you to stop going to school lately?" If this is about his bullying or family problems, he knows that calling this meeting is a very good move on his end.

"That's true. But I'm more worried regarding your rebellious behavior lately. Is there someone troubling you?"
no subject
"It's not something you can understand."

That answer makes him more worried about him. In fact, Armand even wonders if his problems have anything to do with his family or his friends. There is also the serial murders, but he doubts that Asher would get involved in them.
"Look, I'm your teacher, Asher. If there is something wrong regarding with your family or friends, you should try to share with them to me. So regardless of your problems, I will try to understand them just to help you out."

"Just forget about it." He crosses his arms as he says it, then looks away afterward, really hoping his teacher will just give up, even though he doubts it.

Seeing that questioning him more will lead him nowhere, he just said nothing else while hoping that his father would arrive here on time so they can discuss Asher's sudden change of personality.

Casimir seems distracted as he walks into the room and takes a seat. Maybe he should say something to the teacher... but he doesn't know what to say, and doesn't say anything.

He says nothing, just glances over when he notices the door move, then pointedly looks away from both of the adults in the room.

"Hello, Mr. Gutermuth. You're just in time. Asher is with me in this room," Armand says as he gestures him to his said 'son'. "Speaking of which, I need to discuss with you regarding his rebellious behavior lately."
no subject
"I see." His expression might be mistaken for sadness at discovering his son has been acting up, but it's unlikely that Gladion would take it as such.
